Last weekend, Andy and I made a shopping trip out to IKEA to buy some stuff for Baby Kim's room. My love-hate relationship with IKEA continues. I didn't think we'd get much done for awhile but Andy was really great with putting the big pieces together this past week. I think he wanted me to have something to enjoy while he is gone all week on a training exercise. Such a good hubby. Hehe.
Like I mentioned in my previous post, I found this great DIY IKEA hack that I wanted to do. (See it here: http://aubreyandlindsay.blogspot.ca/2009/09/side-table-project.html)
For the safety of the baby, Andy had to do all the work and he impressed me once again! He did a wonderful job.
So here is what ours looks like so far! :)

After staining, painting, and sealing!!! NOT FINISHED THOUGH!! **Check out the pretty rug I ordered from Target with the help of my mom & sister!! Target is so weird with shipping certain things and wouldn't ship the rug even though it was within the acceptable dimensions so I had to have my sister pick it up from Target then my mom shipped it. Why go through the extra work to get a this rug you ask??? Well, carpet is another thing Germany does NOT do well. Terrible selection at terrible prices.** Thanks guys! :)
