For our 2 year anniversary we decided to head to the beaches in Costa Del Sol, Spain. It was such a relaxing trip - spending most of the day relaxing on the beach/poolside then taking walks along the coast. I loved every minute of it.
(Well, except that I realized that it was not very comfortable to lay in the sun pregnant! Not only has my sensitivity to the sun gone up, it's really hard to lay on my back/sides for very long. Laying on my belly wasn't an option! hah.)
If you ask Andy, I think the only thing he really remembers clearly is the round of golf we played at Mijas - Los Lagos Golf course. I had set up a tee time and rented golf clubs as a surprise. It's so easy to make hubby happy! :)
I was proud of myself for playing 14 out of the 18 holes in the 85 degree heat. Andy thinks my belly helped me stabilize myself better. Ha.
I can't believe it's only been 2 years since our wedding day. Last year definitely felt like a year, but this year we feel as if we've been married for at least 3-4 years! It's been such a crazy adventure this past year alone. So much to be thankful for.
As we look ahead, there are many uncertainties and while it's a scary thing to think about, we know that we can make it through anything as long as we support each other and trust that God will always do what is best for us.
We've grown so much as both individuals and as a couple and strive to always be better than the person we were the day before. I think the challenges ahead will only make us stronger as a family. For those who don't know already, Andy will be taking on a new position in July as a Brigade Surgeon at a new base in Germany (only 20 minutes from our house). This is a 2-year position that he has been tasked to do and he will be able to return to Cardiology afterwards.
Please keep us in your prayers over the next few months! :)
Anyway, here are some photos from our trip!

To be continued...
Quick Baby Update!
I had my 24 week appointment today! It's always fun watching Baby Kim on the ultrasound monitor, even if she still looks a bit like an alien. She wasn't as active as our last appointment and a little stubborn with her little hands blocking her face but we were able to capture a few good shots and observe the important parts - heart, growth, etc.
She weighed in at 1 pound 10 oz (24 weeks 2 days).
Can't believe how big she's growing!
Baby Kim looks healthy! :)
Here are a couple ultrasound pictures.
